Brenda is an aerospace engineer with direct research experience in microgravity. She flew on the Aurelia Institute's Horizon 2023 zero-gravity flight through the AstroAccess program, conducting research on accessibility for deaf and hard-of-hearing researchers aboard parabolic flights. That work was published in AIAA's Aerospace America.

Before that she spent nearly three years as Director of Logistics at AstroAccess, leading planning and mission logistics for parabolic flights advancing disability inclusion in human spaceflight. She holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego, where she was president of the AIAA student branch.

She supports the clinical team at the intersection of commercial spaceflight and operational medicine, and brings a working conviction that spaceflight advances when it is built for everyone.
