David was part of the founding team at Commerce One, which listed on the Nasdaq at a $22bn valuation. He founded Space Tech Ventures in 2026 focusing on early-stage space and orbital companies. He also co-founded Pario Ventures, which now manages over $1bn in AUM, and has invested in more than 100 startups and scale-ups, backing companies like Revolut long before they were household names. He was Chairman of E-Fundamentals through its sale to CommerceIQ in 2022, and has held 56 non-executive director roles to date.

David is based between Menlo Park, Monaco and the UK. He advises Astrolabe on financing, strategy, board structure and scaling.
